A gathering of over 350 came together at the King’s Hall, Stoke, on Friday 5th June for the 2026 Stoke-on-Trent Civic Prayer Breakfast. Those in attendance celebrated with a full English breakfast while also hearing from guest speaker Jon Rouse CBE (Chief Executive, Stoke-on-Trent City Council), Laura Nicholls (Director of Stoke City Community Engagement) and Naomi Parton (Head of Port Vale Foundation).
Saltbox Chief Executive Lloyd Cooke commented “It was a great thrill to host the 2026 Civic Prayer Breakfast. Over 350 attended representing different local churches, faith groups and many leaders from business, education, policing, and government. There was a real sense of joy in the building as we shared in worship and prayer together for our city.”
