In October 2017, Movement Day UK – a two-day conference encouraging church influence in local communities – was held in London. Saltbox was involved in the planning and deliverance of the input for the conference.

In June 2017, Saltbox helped to arrange a number of locally-based General Election hustings, providing a platform for all local candidates to debate and answer questions.
On 5th May, Saltbox organised the annual Civic Prayer Breakfast, bringing together civic and faith leaders to prayer for God’s blessing on our city and surrounding area.
In March 2017, Saltbox assisted with the Sentinel Cross outreach event, praying in the six towns of Stoke-on-Trent and including Newcastle-under-Lyme for hope and healing.
