Our Purpose
Guided by Christian values, Saltbox aims to spiritually and socially transform and strengthen communities—making a difference one life at a time. We are an innovative Christian charity that prides itself on being a model for spiritual infrastructure support and community transformation.
We aim to empower those who support others or seek assistance themselves, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes. We advocate for marginalised individuals who rely on crucial public services, like the NHS and local authorities, facilitating consultations and direct feedback between the public and key decision-makers.
We also promote collaboration among faith leaders at the city and town level, encouraging partnerships that enhance community cohesion. By motivating faith groups to develop and expand projects that benefit the broader community, we help to create transformation that benefits all parties.
Strategic Prayer
Our initiative for united, city-focused prayer and intercession empowers faith communities to come together in heartfelt supplication for their towns and cities. We equip faith groups to improve their engagement, communication, and recruitment efforts effectively, and facilitate regular monthly meetings for faith leaders, fostering a space for prayer and networking.

Located in the city centre, our outreach facility serves diverse agencies, including Street Chaplains, Nightchurch, counselling services, and local churches.
North Staffs Forum of Faiths
We connect leaders from various religious groups, fostering interfaith dialogue and collaboration.
City Faith Link Forum
This forum provides opportunities for faith and civic leaders to come together to discuss and address community needs.
